Kittitas PUD is currently hiring for the following position(s):
General Manager
A successful candidate needs to possess:
- a minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in the electric utility industry, preferably with knowledge of Bonneville Power Administration
- a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the challenges of the GM position, but the board will consider senior level management experience in the electric utility industry and strong leadership skills, in lieu of a degree
- strong experience in the areas of electric operations, accounting, customer relations, personnel, finance, with outstanding oral and written communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, maintain a team spirit driven by the public power concepts and principles and have the ability to work well with customers, community organizations, employees, and the Board of Commissioners
- should be able to begin work in the spring of 2010
