How To Calculate Your Residential Electric Bill
Example (1):
Current meter reading is 5820
Previous meter reading was - 5689
Subtract these two 131
Multiply this number by your meter multipler. (Most of our residential meters have a multiplier of 10)
131 x 10 = 1310 = your usage
Multiply this number by the rate: .072/kwh
1310 x .072= $94.32
Add the monthly facility charge of $12.00
Total electric bill = $106.32
